What is Cut & Run?

Cut & Run is a Narrative Skirmish Wargame set in a fantasy medieval period where the players manage mercenary warbands in a grand effort to kill His Majesty, The King. It allows for any number of players to engage in a massive campaign of death and glory, but is designed primarily for campaigns consisting of 1-8 players. 

This game also supports one-on-one battles, for players who want to prove their tactical prowess.

What does Cut & Run feel like?

No two campaigns of Cut & Run feel the same. Designed primarily with customizability in mind, all warbands look unique, and the experience of playing them is specific to them. 

Warbands have a wide variety of potential specializations, from focusing primarily on managing profitable real estate to focusing primarily on causing panic in the enemy with dramatic war cries. 

The only feeling that remains constant is the strategic planning around growth and the satisfaction that comes when everything goes according to plan.

How does Cut & Run work?

Cut & Run sees players create their custom warband, and take various jobs from His Majesty to gain both strength and riches through battle.

In addition to jobs, warbands study, train, buy assets, and raid each other to prepare themselves for their final test: Committing regicide and toppling the King.

What do I need to play Cut & Run?

To play Cut & Run, you'll need a surface to play on. The game demands a 5x5 foot playing surface, but a smaller playing surface is still adequate.

In addition, miniatures representing the individual characters and ordinary six-sided dice are both necessary. While the game specifies specific sizes (typically in inch increments for ease of 3D printed miniatures) for each character, 28mm scale miniatures will work just as well.

This game was designed to be very compatible with various 'Virtual Tabletops' such as Tabletop Simulator or even Roll20.
